If there was ever a galaxy that would make you want to look through a telescope then this is it. This is the finest example of a barred spiral galaxy in the Southern Hemisphere. 40 x 30 seconds exposures. Celestron GPS11 at f3.3, Meade DSIc. Taken at Siding Springs Observatory 27 September 2006.
